There’s Nothing Like a Dame
Of course you know that March is National Peanut Month, National Foot Health Month and National Noodle Month. But did you know that it is also National Women’s History Month? That’s right, a whole month to celebrate the achievements and aspirations of women across the country. As hard as it might seem to pack a celebration of 50 percent of the population into just one short month, the people of Maplewood are going to do their best to kick off the month’s festivities in style. They’re holding a networking opportunity with local female business owners at the Saint Louis Closet Co. The event will also feature a talk by our favorite entrepreneurs, Sauce Magazine founders Catherine Neville and Allyson Mace. Don’t feel left out if you’re on the XY end of the chromosome scale. Men are cordially invited as well. What: Women Making History When: Thu., March 6 – 5:30 p.m. Where: Saint Louis Closet Co., 2626 S. Big Bend Blvd., Maplewood Cost: Free, but you must R.S.V.P. by Thu., Feb. 28. Info: 314.646. 3607 |
