A Mite-y Good Time

In our experience, you can put kids in their pajamas, but you can’t make them sleep.

You can, however, put them in their pajamas and watch their eyes light up at the prospect of a bedtime detour to the Butterfly House. That’s right. Throughout the month, your little bed bugs (decked out in their favorite PJs, of course) are invited to join the conservatory’s winged beauties for insect-centered stories, snacks and even a “critter craft.” It all starts fluttering tonight with the tale of an adventurous bug-eating little girl named Beetle McGrady and platefuls of “faux bug sandwiches” on the agenda.

You’ll also observe butterflies settling down for the night (yep, even insects need their rest), which we hope might just encourage your own brood to do the same upon arriving home.
