Fancy Feet

Whether you prefer pink ballet slippers or  a more contemporary look, you’ll find something to your fancy at the Spring to Dance Festival, which is hoofing its way into town this Thursday.

Over three nights, you’ll be treated to moves from 30 dance group. We’re talking about everything from The Joffrey Ballet to Cleveland’s The Dancing Wheels Company, described as America’s first physically integrated modern dance company, which brings together both traditional and wheelchair-bound dancers. Local groups including MADCO and Saint Louis Ballet will also strut their stuff.

Each of the three nights includes three options for spectators. The first has been dubbed “festive fun in the lobby” and will include a medley of dance, demos and data from local arts and education groups. Then check out the talents of regional troupes in Lee Theater before bigger names take the stage in the Anheuser-Busch Performance Hall.
