Give a Little, Listen a Lot

Did you hear the news about KDHX’s spring membership drive? It surpassed its goal, helping to secure another year of direct-from-your-speakers entertainment for those who can’t imagine heading to this party or that can’t-miss show without the likes of Ska's the Limit or The Grateful Dead Hour to liven up the car trip.

In fact, the hours we spend en route might just account for why we have yet to donate. Between our social engagements and the trips to and from – we simply ran out of time. But don’t despair; the station’s annual Midwest Mayhem fund-raiser means all of us social butterflies can get our fill of a dozen diverse local bands while simultaneously helping to support independent radio.

And music’s not all the night has in store: Catch a sassy show from The Alley Cat Revue or the oddly entertaining Lawn Chair Brigade, then relive the joy of face-painting or simply savor the scene with a cocktail in hand before driving home to the sweet sounds you’ll hear at 88.1 FM on your radio’s dial.
