Star-Studded Cinema
Remember a couple summers ago when an intimate outdoor movie series was sparked under the stars in Tower Grove Park? Then, how last year, it expanded to 40 movies throughout the city? Well, now it’s blown up again as Frontyard Features presents 200 films across Missouri – with plenty to choose from right here at home. Despite the growth, these events are still intimate affairs with a community slant. In the Lafayette Square neighborhood, for example, residents voted online for the films they preferred to book. You can embrace this new cinematic tradition tonight at Wilmore Park where My Dog Skip (fittingly sponsored by Southwest City Dog Park) is showing, then log onto Frontyard Features’ Web site to plan your next outing, with local choices ranging from Dumbo to Psycho through October.
