Free Seats


The always-free Shakespeare Festival may be winding down in Forest Park, but other complimentary theater tickets continue to float around St. Louis.

Take advantage of seven shows worth of free seats at The Muny, which opens its summer season next Monday with The Producers. As for the younger set, the Black Rep offers audience members ages 8 to 18 no-charge tickets (with the purchase of an adult ticket) to its current production of Sarafina! on Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons.

Meanwhile, New Line Theatre is setting aside 10 seats each night for college students to catch the rock musical High Fidelity during its first run outside of New York.
