Fountains of Fun

Toddlers donning swimwear are adorable. You, however, are not so adorable scurrying around after them in full-sized swimming pools, where multiple floatation devises are necessary to keep their heads above water. Sheesh. When did a day at the pool get so exhausting?

That’s why this summer you’ll find our water babies splashing about at The Webster Groves Recreation Complex Aquatic Center, where toddler time is all the rage on weekday mornings.

Chill out in either the spray park or kid-friendly pool (catered to those under 4 feet) in which kids can wade to their hearts’ content while enjoying a variety of diversions. The baby bungee jump might keep some entertained for the entire stay, while others will gravitate toward the slide and the teeter totter. But don’t forget your pool toys, because even the tiniest swimmers will get a kick out of playing on the outskirts while lapping water keeps little legs and feet cool.
