The Low Down

Ever since he took that trip down the toilet in Trainspotting, we’ve been smitten with Ewan McGregor. And his more recent travels have kept us hooked.

Remember how in 2004 he and pal Charley Boorman hopped on their motorcycles and traveled from London to New York? (If not, you should rent the series Long Way Round.) The daring duo recently hit the road again for the follow-up, a trip that started in Scotland and ended in South Africa.

We already have our TiVo set for Saturday night, when the series Long Way Down premieres on Fox Reality, but if you’re not one to wait, then check out a special director’s cut of the journey when it screens in select theaters tomorrow night.
