Show Vote

When it comes to politics, we all have some major decisions to make. Of course, some already know which way they sway. But there are others who still aren’t sure. As for us? We embrace them all. In fact, we’re hoping to score tickets for all 15 of the shows lined up for this year’s St. Louis Political Theatre Festival.

The curtain opens next Friday with The Immediacy Theatre Project’s Johnny A. Cannon II: Johnny Descending, and things continue throughout the fall with 14 other shows, ranging from St. Louis Shakespeare’s King Lear to New Line Theatre’s Hair to The NonProphet Theatre Company’s Laura’s Bush.

The St. Louis Actors’ Studio is devoting its entire season to politics and power, and The Rep will encourage chatter during pre- and post-show discussions throughout the run of Frost/Nixon. So do you see now why we can’t commit to one or the other? There’s too much good stuff in store for us not to embrace it all.
