Rollin’ Into a Long Weekend
Labor Day weekend is summer’s last hurrah, and with The Gateway Cup bicycle race rolling into local neighborhoods, it’s never been easier to find a party. Start under the lights in Lafayette Square on Friday, before checking out this year’s new addition to race, a 1-mile figure-8 course that takes off the next morning The Schlafly Tap Room. Racing continues on The Hill and in the U-City Loop on Sunday and Monday, respectively, with post parties, a bocce pasta dinner, kids’ races and more crammed throughout the four-day event.
