Fit as a Fiddle

You’ve probably heard that Grant’s Farm moved to a weekends-only schedule earlier than usual this year. And with InBev purchasing A-B, this change has some wondering what’s next.

Rest assured that for now, at least, one thing is staying the same: bluegrass in the Bauernhof. Although animals aren’t available for your viewing pleasure over the six-week concert series, adult beverages will still be brewing, not to mention goodies for the kids.

As far as the music, it’s a family affair tonight when Arlington takes the stage, followed next week by David Davis & The Warrior River Boys, who promise to “jam a big bluegrass wallop into a concise package.” So head into fall with your toes a tappin’ and savor the tradition of one local landmark.

What: Blazin’ Bluegrass in the Bauernhof
When: Wednesdays through Oct. 1 – 7 p.m.
Where: Grant's Farm, 10501 Gravois Road, St. Louis
Cost: Free, but there is an $10 parking fee
Info: 314.843.1700 or www.grantsfarm.com
