Drink Pink

Grapefruit? Lychee? Nope. Despite its sweet name, Pink Vodka has no added flavor or sugar. But it does have an added kick from colorless, flavorless caffeine and guarana. It’s like a built-in energy drink.

The Dutch ultrapremium just hit the shelves in Missouri, but keep an eye out for other Pink-brand spirits down the line: tequila, rum, white whiskey, gin and sake – all infused with caffeine and guarana.

The company – whose founder is a Wash U. grad – said Pink’s perk appeals to clubgoers, golfers who like to break for a martini, and those who enjoy an after-dinner drink or cup of coffee. It also can add an extra pick-me-up to a brunch cocktail. Given this weekend’s weather forecast, who wouldn’t want to start their day with a little Pink Sunshine?
