Drip-Free Vino

It’s been a few weeks since we poured our last glass of wine for a holiday reveler, but we’re still trying to get those little drops of red wine out of our favorite table linens.

It seems someone forgot to tell us about a cool little tool that’s been around for years but isn’t as high-profile as other wine gadgets. It’s called a wine collar – a small, ring shaped item that slips neatly over the opening of the bottle to prevent dripping. Most wine gadget gift sets contain at least one wine collar, but it can be a little hard to find them on their own. To stock up for your next soiree, check out local wine stores, like The Wine Merchant, where you’ll find a set of three for just $3, or Crate & Barrel, which stocks a polished, silver-toned brass collar for under $5.
