Folks down Mexico way have been tinkering with beer forever, adding a little salt, a squeeze of lime, a dash of Maggi Seasoning. But leave it to American ingenuity – St. Louis ingenuity, specifically – to create a convenient, ready-to-drink version of the Michelada: the Budweiser & Clamato Chelada. Your friends at Anheuser-Busch blend Budweiser or Bud Light with Clamato-brand tomato-clam cocktail. Think of it as a beer Bloody Mary. Pour it over ice, add a celery stalk and a few drops of hot sauce. Even though the Bud Chelada is premixed, feel free to add your own twist. How ’bout a lime?
