Art and Wine, Hold the Mayo
Last year, Sauce foodies voted McLozzi Deli & Marketplace, at the corner of McNair and Pestolozzi (of course) as a Readers’ Choice Favorite. And for good reason: Their grilled panini sandwiches are great (we’re particularly fond of the Caprese). Not to mention the deli is located in a cool, rehabbed building in the Benton Park neighborhood, where there seems to be a lot of cool rehabbing activity lately. Here’s another reason to hang out at the corner deli: Hobnobbin’ with local artists, sipping a nice wine or beer, and noshing on tasty appetizers. And just to make sure the artists are not starving, you can purchase their work.
