Eco-Friendly Kitchenware

A few months ago we told you about a line of “green” kitchen items that were scheduled to pop up at Whole Foods Markets in the Midwest this year. Well, (drum roll, please) they’re here!

Whole Foods in Brentwood now carries colanders, food storage containers and plastic and paperstone cutting boards from the Preserve Kitchen ware line by Recycline. In addition to the kitchen items, the store also stocks two sizes of reusable, plastic picnic plates and packages of sturdy, reusable utensils.

All of the items are made from 100 percent recycled products, and all can be recycled again when you’re ready to replace them. But since Preserve items come in fun colors – like Apple Green – and are made to last, you can look forward to using – and reusing – them for a long, long time.

Sauce pick: Preserve recycled kitchen and dining ware
Where to get it: Whole Foods Market, 1601 S. Brentwood Blvd., Brentwood
Info: 314.968.7744 or www.wholefoodsmarket.com
