Butter Up

Fresh corn on the cob is already fun to eat, but now it’s a full-fledged party, thanks to Butter Boy and Butter Girl.

Don’t know them? Well, allow us to introduce you. They’re bright and cute and their sole purpose is to spread the sweet, creamy goodness of butter on a hot, crisp ear of corn. All they need from you is a stick of butter, cut in half and inserted into their little plastic bellies. After that, you have their permission to turn them upside down and roll them on cob after cob after cob of corn.

Best of all, like all good party guests, they clean up well (via the dishwasher), and they love to travel to campgrounds and picnic spots. They do, however, have one shortcoming: Since Butter Boy and Butter Girl don’t have arms, they probably won’t bring their own beer.

Sauce pick: Butter Boy and Butter Girl butter dispensers
