Kool Kreme at Krispy Kreme

How many time have you said to yourself, “What would really go great with a hot glazed Krispy Kreme doughnut is a cold, creamy ice cream cone?” We thought so.

Nonetheless, four St. Louis area Krispy Kreme doughnut shops (all but the North County location) now feature Kool Kreme premium soft-serve as a delightful side dish to its sugary rounds of addictive fried dough. The whole ice cream-doughnut concept was tested successfully in one Seattle store; rather ironic since the city is consistently named one of American’s fittest cities. Now St. Louisans can enjoy a cone, malt, float, shake, sundae or Frenzee (a concrete-like concoction, complete with candy) with their favorite doughnut. And get this: St. Louis is the first city in the nation to offer Kool Kreme throughout the market. Now that’s kool.
