Free Food? We’re There!
Seems Chipotle Mexican Grill knows the way to hearts is through our stomachs, especially if there’s free food involved. The national fast-casual chain restaurant opens its eighth St. Louis location this Friday in Kirkwood but the real event occurs tomorrow. From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Kirkwood shop will hand out free burritos and burrito bowls (burritos sans tortilla) ... no catch, no strings attached, no kidding. Those familiar with Chipotle know their gourmet burritos are massive affairs, stuffed with naturally raised chicken, beef or pork and all the fixings. The company’s Food With Integrity vision has caught the eye of foodies because all of the restaurant’s meat comes from humanely raised animals fed a pure vegetarian diet without antibiotics or added hormones. Chipotle was also the first national restaurant chain to serve rBGH-free dairy products, not to mention that 30 percent of the beans used this year are organically grown. All that and free burritos? Sauce pick: Free burritos! Where to get it: Wed., May 28 – 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Chipotle Mexican Grill, 1255 S. Kirkwood Road, Kirkwood Price: Did we mention FREE? Info: 314.238.0300 or www.chipotle.com |
