Beer & Brats for a Good Cause
Sure, we love good beer with good brats, whether at the ball game or a backyard barbecue. But when we can enjoy our favorite summer indulgence and support the St. Louis Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at the same time, well, we just can’t help ourselves. This Saturday marks the first Beer & Brats Festival, with 100 percent of the ticket sales going to benefit the local charity. Such brewers as Wm. D. Alandale, Boulevard, A-B, Buffalo, Griesedick Bros., Gruhlke’s Microbrewery, Ray Hill and Schlafly will dispense their wares while Westport restaurants will serve up their versions of the classic sausage and other food. There’ll be live music and even a People’s Choice award for your favorite beer and brat. Sauce pick: Beer & Brats Festival fundraiser for the St. Louis area Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Price: $20 in advance, $25 at the door; food sold separately Where to get it: Sat., June 28 – noon to 6 p.m., Westport Plaza’s west parking lot Info: To order tickets, call 314.878.0708.
