Make A Statement

"I'm such a slacker," you might tell yourself once the holiday greeting cards start arriving. It won't just be that your friend's cousin gave birth at the beginning of the year and won the New York marathon 11 months later. (Someone's totally getting that letter this year – imagine!) You could also feel less-than-adequate if you're not making a statement with the cards you send out.

If you steer clear of sappy Santas and cutesy, snow-capped cottages, you're gonna like the local stationer Big Small Town. Two of its funniest holiday designs are a deflated snowman yard ornament and a collage of STL doughnut shops (one of them is bedecked with a quaint wreath). Not everybody on your mailing list will appreciate these comic-ironic greetings – but you will, and that's more important than winning any race.
