Whether your name is Mike or Hillary or John, we’re going to assume you care about children’s education. Here’s a way to help. Stop onto www.donorschoose.org, a Web site that coordinates funding for small-scale education projects in St. Louis and throughout the country. As its name suggests, the Web site lets you choose your donation’s destination. Maybe you’ll put it toward bilingual books, maybe you’ll pitch in for an aquarium. Donations in any amount are welcome and eventually add up to a classroom’s wish. Contributing to kids’ education in this way works – and it’s a lot easier than, say, running for president.
