Look Like a Model
Nobody’s ever confused you with Heidi Klum or Naomi Campbell, but that doesn’t mean you can’t look like a model. No, this isn’t a plug for Botox (wink, wink), this is a plug for fashions fresh off the runway. Instead of shopping off national retailers’ racks, head to Project: Design! tomorrow night. Twenty-eight models will be wearing the work of six local designers. “It’s like an art exhibit,” said show coordinator Dwight Carter of Rock Uniform. “People can walk around the models and check out the different designs.” Afterward, you can take these outfits home. Not all of them (wink, wink). There will be a lot to choose from – spring lines, fall lines and cutting-edge prototypes. Wanna look like a model? Wear what the models wear.
