The Colors of Spring
You’d never guess by looking at his work now, but local artist Jeff Kapfer originally painted in black and white. His subject has always been birds – green birds, red birds, blue birds, pink birds, plus a fair share of all-of-the-above birds. Kapfer couples these color explosions with bold, rounding lines that give his work a look all its own. Bright and brimming with whimsy, these bird paintings can bring spring into any room of the house.
