Foodfest this Saturday, everybody. Clear your calendars. Anyone with a love for food, art and food-related art will want to see and be seen at Mad Art Gallery tomorrow. Local artists – including Saucers Josh Monken, Jonathan S. Pollack and Allyson Mace – have brought the farm to the frame. Bid in the art auction and then eat, drink and eat some more. St. Louis’ top chefs will be turning local ingredients like pork and tree-ripened peaches into an unforgettable dinner. Save room for dessert – Niche Restaurant’s pastry chef Mathew Rice will be making peach and lavender trifle. What’s the occasion for all this food, glorious food?
