Feed the Meter
Unless you plan to start a coin collection, you probably want to get rid of the 25 quarters in your pocket. Real Change, a civic initiative that launched a few weeks ago, has gussied up four parking meters and put them in the Central West End. Instead of keeping tickets off your windshield, the change you feed these green meters will help out local social service programs. So round up the dimes in your couch, the nickels on your desk and all the pennies in your car cupholder. Change is that easy.
