Franco (12/28/2006) - This new contemporary French restaurant is just a stone's throw from Soulard Market.

Rooster (12/21/2006) - Dave Bailey is at it again with Rooster, an urban crepe cafe.

Happy anniversary Schlafly (12/14/2006) - To honor 15 years of business, brewers at Schlafly have come up with Number 15.

Dreamland Palace (12/07/2006) - In honor of the Feast of St. Nick, a German custom dating back to the fourth century, Catherine Neville visited Foster Pond, Ill.

Moss' Organic Sweets and Stuff (11/30/2006) - Located on The Hill, Moss' Organic Sweets & Stuff owner Kevin Moss had a very good reason for picking his location. He said that he knew that the spot was a big traffic area which would be a good way to promote his products.

Tuxedo Room (11/23/2006) - The Tuxedo Room knows that their location will certainly bring plenty of theatergoers, but with the romantic setting, they're hoping to make their mark as one of St. Louis' premiere date spots.

The Dubliner (11/16/2006) - One of the newest spots on Washington Avenue features live music, Irish food and lots of beer.

Vin de Set (11/02/2006) - Paul and Wendy Hamilton bring rooftop dining and French food to the Lafayette Square neighborhood.

O'Fallon Brewery's Pumpkin Beer (10/18/2006) - This local brewery is famous for making a beer that's full of pumpkin pie flavor.

Wolfgang Puck visits St. Louis (10/12/2006) - During his visit to St. Louis, Wolfgang Puck took time out of his schedule to cook gnocchi with Sauce Magazine editor Catherine Neville and Cary McDowell, the executive chef at Puck's in the St. Louis Art Museum.

Five (10/11/2006) - This new Grove restaurant has set out to please all five of your senses.

Blues City Deli (10/04/2006) - Take a ride up the Blues Highway at Blues City Deli in Benton Park.

Pomme Cafe and Wine Bar (09/28/2006) - Just two doors down the street from Pomme Restaurant is the new Pomme Cafe and Wine Bar, a casual taste of France in the heart of Clayton.

Niche (09/20/2006) - Chef Gerard Ford Craft has truly found his niche in up-and-coming Benton Park.

Wapango (09/13/2006) - We've got the scoop on this brand new pan-Latin restaurant in Chesterfield.

Blumenhof Vineyards (09/06/2006) - Blumenhof Vineyards is nestled off Highway 94 in the German settlement of Dutzow. Owner Mark Blumberg takes pride in the fact that Blumenhof wines are made solely of Missouri grapes.

Chaumette Vineyards and Winery (08/30/2006) - A short jog off Interstate 55 in Ste Genevieve County will land you there. It's not the French countryside; it's Chaumette Winery.

Farotto's (08/23/2006) - Fifty years ago a small pizzeria opened it's doors on Manchester road in Rock Hill. Farotto's is now a staple in the St. Louis restaurant scene. Happy 50th anniversary!

Whistle Stop (08/16/2006) - In the heart of Ferguson, sits Whistle Stop, a custard and sandwich shop wrapped up into one.

Serendipity Homemade Ice Cream (08/09/2006) - In Webster Groves, there's an ice cream shop that is not only a hit with residents, local restaurant owners tap into the supply as well.

Favorite place to take active little kids: Fitz's American Grill & Bottling Works (08/02/2006) - At this Loop institution, the little ones have kid-friendly fare to choose from but it's the parent-friendly choices that keep families coming back. Parents should be happy, too, afterall! (This segment was rescheduled due to the power outage.)

Favorite place for a first date: Sidney Street Cafe (07/26/2006) - Owner and chef Kevin Nashan says there's no one thing that sets Sidney Street apart from the rest. The overall atmosphere and delectable food are both standouts.

Favorite tapas: Modesto (07/12/2006) - Chef Grace Dinsmoor has ranked second favorite chef in the readers' choice poll four years in a row. It's no wonder Modesto has topped the list as favorite place for tapas and Spanish food each of those years.

Favorite chef: Brian Hale of Monarch Restaurant & Wine Bar (07/05/2006) - Chef Brian Hale fits right in at Monarch. It's a restaurant spares no expense when it comes to the details.

Favorite restaurant: Eleven Eleven Mississippi (06/28/2006) - Tuscan and northern California cuisines, along with the extensive wine list are just part of the charm of Eleven Eleven.

222 Artisan Bakery (06/21/2006) - 222 Artisan Bakery takes great pride in what they call the simpleness of baking, using only the finest ingredients to create fantastic breads and pastries.

The Scottish Arms (06/14/2006) - Father's day is less than a week away. Take your dad to Scotland this year without leaving St. Louis.
