May the Force be With You

Once upon a time, in a galaxy not so far away (and known better, in fact, as the Scottrade Center), footage from all six Star Wars films was to be shown on a massive three-story screen alongside a complete symphony orchestra and choir performing John Williams’ scores.

It’s called Star Wars in Concert, and Anthony Daniels – the man who brought C-3PO to life – will be on stage this Thursday night to narrate the anticipated event. Audience members will also have the opportunity to peruse a related exhibit that boasts artifacts, props, videos and more. Music-lovers will be tickled to find portions of Williams’ hand-written sheet music from Star Wars: Episode 1 The Phantom Menace, while the Jedi-minded will fawn over the costumes for Kit Fisto and Plo; everyone will be swept away by the spectacle of it all.

When: Thu., Dec. 10 – 7:30 p.m. (Tickets are now on sale.)
