December 21st, 2009 edition of The Daily Sauce: Entertainment. Visit Our Entertainment Archive. And Then There Was One While in the past there have been two opportunities to feast our eyes on The Bach Society’s candlelight procession, this year all the pomp is packed into one joyous evening. Led by music director and conductor Dennis Sparger, we’re told this year’s event will start off on a high note with the Sanctus and Hosanna from Bach’s B minor Mass followed by two choruses from Handel’s Messiah. As always, talented youngsters from the Archdiocesan Children's Choir will pull on your heartstrings with their adorableness, and Classic 99’s Rom Klemm will transform us all into performers when he leads the audience in a rousing set of carols. It all starts – and ends – tonight, so get yourself glowing to Powell Symphony Hall before the lights fade.
