January 27th, 2010 edition of The Daily Sauce: Entertainment. Visit Our Entertainment Archive. Don’t Touch That Dial Whether you’re new to the St. Louis theater scene, or know our local troupes like the back of your hand, Break a Leg is a must-listen. Just turn your radio dial to 88.1 each Monday, when theater gurus Deborah Sharn and Scott Miller, who teamed up in 1998, deliver the lowdown on everything stage-related. It’s described as “the only show in town where working theater artists interview working theater artists,” and here’s what that means to you: The duo has recently chatted with The Black Rep’s artistic director Ron Himes; Stray Dog’s artistic director Gary Bell and actor Margeau Steinau; and Stephanie D’Abruzzo, original cast member of Avenue Q. We also enjoyed last month’s end-of-the-year wrap up with theater critic Judith Newmark. (Yay Crestwood Court! Boo to the end of the Orange Girls.) So tune in, listen up, then head out to the show. What: Break a Leg When: Mondays – 10:10 p.m. Where: KDHX 88.1 Cost: Free Info: kdhx.org |
