The Glass Matters

How about tasting some fine wine in the proper wine glass for a change? Next Thursday, Sean Petrie of Riedel Crystal will show you why the glass you drink your vino from is as important as the vino itself as he leads you through a four-flight tasting. (Riedel, as any wine geek knows, is the premier maker of fine wine glassware.) You’ll nibble on appetizers as you sip wines from Mount Veeder, Cambria, Franciscan and Kim Crawford wineries. Even better, you’ll be able to re-create the experience at home with a four-piece set of Riedel Vinum Crystal stemware, which is included in the admission price.
