Icing on the Cake Enjoy a sweet weekend Saturday and Sunday at the Missouri Botanical Garden, where the theme is Sugared, Spiced and Everything Iced. Cake decorating shows may be all the rage on television, but you can pick up a few pointers in person when the St. Louis Metropolitan Sugar Art Guild (really, since 2003) shows off dozens of elaborately decorated cakes and cookies. Discover how decorators combine gum-paste flowers, piping gel, sugar glitter and God knows what else to produce these edible stunners.
