December 4th, 2009 edition of The Daily Sauce: Lifestyles. Visit Our Lifestyles Archive. Two Birds, One Museum You should finish up your holiday shopping. But you’d rather check out the Contemporary Art Museum’s latest exhibit, For the blind man in the dark room looking for the black cat that isn’t there, which sounds much more fun. We suggest you do both, by attending the museum’s holiday open house and art and craft sale next Thursday night. Between the booths selling clothing, jewelry, glass and prints – all handmade by local artists – and the Contemporary's Muse gift shop, you’ll surely find something for everyone on your list. Then snack on nibbles, sip on libations and enjoy the exhibit. Problem solved. Sauce pick: Holiday open house and art and craft sale Where to get it: Thu., Dec. 10 – 6 p.m., The Contemporary Art Museum, 3750 Washington Blvd., St. Louis Info: 314.535.4660 or contemporarystl.org |
